Well guys & girls me and Paul proved it can be done with hard work and determination. This is how the story fully unfolds, We arrived at the station on friday at 11am got ourselfs ready for the intro of the marathon which was at 12pm, Intro was played (Star wars theme with a very funny script overlayed on it) Paul wrote the script whilst I then got my hands...well actually wrapped my mouth around it and recorded the ''master peace'' at my studio, Right where was I ?!....oh yesssss, one and a half hours into the show and all is well, running smoothly, no hickups, no toilet breaks, NOTHING, 2pm arrives, our first guest ''Jo Maplebeck''makes her appearance. Jo informed us and the listners of the journey she took to the great wall of china, Jo said 'Reason for walking 70miles on the great wall was for Cancer research UK' other matters arised in the course of the interview, Shooting now to the 4pm slot we went wild and wacky with the music, soul, funk, soft rock was shared with the world via Paul's magical selection of songs, 6pm all a sudden popped up out of nowhere on us and we hear 'DING DONG' well to be more precise I owuld have said it sounded more on the lines of 'DING DING DONG DING DONG DONG' at the door, it was non other then our free tea been deliverd courtesy of 'Chinese first' (Based in Withernsea), The food was simply amazing and left us both speachless, only for a short period of time though. 8pm decided to say hello to us both, This is were I went potty and played out from the broadcasting system most of the 2007/2008 folder of uptodate music, 9pm came and went past fast with the arrivel of the guest DJ 'James E' and some really memorable 90's old skool classics, 10pm this is really and truley were it kicked of stupidly nutterly madnessly << are they even real words??!!...anyways 10pm is where the real dj'ing happend, the lights in the studio was switched off, volume on the speakers cranked up and finally a disco light to make the mood just that more clubby, for a hour I mixed the relaunch show of True2trance,very undergroud and melodic anthems was spun which had us all in the studio happy and dancing here and there and everywhere, 11pm DJ 'James E' pumped out his wonderful selection of late 90's to early 2000 trance classics, once again we was buzzin and in heaven for just a slight moment, 12:30am Paul went absoultly Bananna's with Hard Rock, great 60's tunes and even suprised me with some of the song selections, 3am I thought HMM im still in the dj'ing mood so trotted along to the mixer and decks and did yet another one hour mix, but with a twist it was pure Progressive trance (meaning it was not to hard and was not really fast), 4pm - onwords we went all chartified and thought it would be good to go right across the board of genres of music, 7pm Dad n lad appeard to do there regular slot whilst we joined in,I must say I never have laughted so much in the space of three hours Dad n Lad great show, loved it! 10pm Susan Dukes came in to do her regular slot to which once again me & Paul enjoyed ourself's, having random chats, trying to push the remainder of the prizes, Linking up everything (i.e Pink Toy = Beach boys = Good Vibrations),12pm Saturday the 28th had arrived Susan let us take over to say our thank you bits and we finished off in style, Rocky Theme tune.
