Paull Lighthouse

A landmark and unique piece of local history has gone on sale in Paull.

The former lighthouse on Townend Road in Paull was built in 1836 and was built by the Hull branch of Trinity House – the general lighthouse authority. Sadly, it had a short life-span and was replaced by two warning lights at Thorngumbald Clough in 1870.

The defunct lighthouse has since become a popular private home with its previous owners running it as a guesthouse since they purchased it in 1985.

According to Reeds Rains estate agents, the news of it coming on the market for £189,950 has been met with a lot of interest.
