They say there is a book in everyone . . . .

This is the truth, some of the truth and most of the truth. It's the story of how I came to such dizzying heights of my success. Ha! If that's what I can call it.If you know me then you'll appreciate the truth behind the bluster. It's a candid insight into how I became the person I now am. Hmm! Not even I know that so if you have any psychiatric training then this is one for you. I'm sure you'll have a field day. However, it does chart my rise to making such huge blockbusters such as the Timestealers series and The Visitor. It even tells you about when I was on Radio One.

No Dogs!

More than 280 public areas in the East Riding could become dog free when new orders come into place this autumn.

East Riding Council want to introduce 'Dog Control Orders' to replace the old bylaws. that control where canines can be exercised. This means that canines will no longer be allowed to be exercised on any school sites, play areas or any of the four beaches in the area, including Withernsea.

When passed, Dog wardens and police community support officers will issue £75 fixed penalty notices to anyone found breaking the new regulations.

Fancy a bank holiday boogie?

Mike Brown's picture

Are you a kid of the 80's? Do you like 80's music? Or, do you just like a good night out?

If the answer is yes to any of these, then why not join me this Bank Holiday Sunday Night in the 80's room at Epney's in Hull's old town.

I'll be playing everything from Tiffany to Talk Talk, Adam and The Ants to ABC, Kim Wilde to Kylie and even Gary Numan to Guns and Roses. Who knows, I might even play some Wham!

Remember, it's a Bank Holiday weekend which means no work the next day so there is no excuse to come along and party!
